Cosmos Creator Online Scenes

Welcome to the Radish Works 3D Web Viewer.   This new Radish Works technology allows huge 3D worlds and objects to be compacted into very tiny files.  Even with the slowest Internet connection you can experience Cosmos Creator authored 3D experiences without needing to spend hours downloading them.  All of the scenes shown below were created completely with Cosmos Creator.

To use this viewer you'll need a PC with a 3D accelerated video card, a CPU speed of 500Mhz or faster (slower ones may work but won't be as fun), Internet Explorer 5 or later, and Microsoft DirectX 9.0b or later.  DirectX can be found here: http://www.microsoft.com/directx.  Machines without Internet Explorer can follow the manual installation instructions below.

Highly Textured Room

This scene uses non-procedural textures and has an amazing amount of detail.  Press your nose right up against the wall and check out the highly detailed images.  This scene is much larger than others because it's not using procedural images.  To manually download the scene file (see instructions below) Click here: CatRoom.rwd (705k)

Very high detail 3D trumpet model, with reflection mapping.  Over 31,000 polygons and a reflection texture in a file that is only 21k!  Model courtesy of Viewpoint.  To manually download the scene file (see instructions below) Click here: Trumpet.rwd (21k)

High Detail Lantern

Spin this 3D Lantern, turn the light up and down, open the match box.  This highly detailed scene has reflections, sound effects and many other neat touches.  All this in a file that's only 43k!  To manually download the scene file (see instructions below) Click here: Lantern.rwd (43k)

GRT Simulation

This great scene was created by Fred McMichael and is a simulation of some military electronics.  Some of the textures are procedural and some are actual images of the electronic equipment.  Nice work Fred! To manually download the scene file (see instructions below) Click here:  GRT.rwd (3MB)

Example City

This example city was generously contributed by Erwin Wolf, check out his other great work at http://www.3d-ontwerp.com.   This scene is non-procedural, so it is much larger than a procedural scene created with the Radish Works Cosmos Creator.  To manually download the scene file (see instructions below) Click here:  ExampleCity.rwd (1.6MB)

Real Time 3D Boolean

Our 3D Booleans are so fast we can actually do them real time!  Check out this spinning cylinder as it subtracts itself from the cube as it spins.  This simple scene is in a file that's only 3K!  To manually download the scene file (see instructions below) Click here: BoolAnimation.rwd (3k)
